Highlights: We leave today!
What else is there to say, we leave today. First stop will be Pietermaritzberg in KwaZulu Natal to have the rear leaf springs downgraded, and then head off into Lesotho. BTW, it is this area of South Africa where many of the battle grounds lie from the Anglo-Boer war, and the British-Zulu battles. Its quite remarkable that almost exactly 100 ago, in this area, these battles were being fought. For me however, what is even more remarkable, is how much many of the white South Africans remember and comment on the Anglo-Boer war.
